Last updated: 19 October 2026. This page outlines the way First Guest agrees projects; your individual quotation and client agreement will give the specific terms of your booking.
Services and quotations
First Guest provides residential relocation coordination, move-in setup, home organisation and agreed property-preparation services. The scope, deliverables, location, estimated dates, price and any exclusions are confirmed in writing before work is booked. An enquiry or completion of a client assessment form does not create a booking.
Booking and payment
Your quotation or booking agreement will explain how to accept the project, any deposit required, payment milestones and due dates. No deposit amount or payment schedule applies universally to all projects. Please review the written quotation before accepting.
Independent suppliers
Removal firms, specialist cleaners, tradespeople, storage providers and other third parties may be independently engaged where relevant. Before arrangements are confirmed, we will explain whether you contract and pay those suppliers directly or whether First Guest will arrange and charge for their services. Their services and responsibilities are not automatically included in a First Guest quotation.
Access, decisions and changes
Clients are responsible for providing agreed access, accurate project details and timely decisions or approvals. Material changes in scope, additional services, delays or unexpected site conditions may affect costs and dates. Any proposed change to the agreed price or work should be confirmed before additional chargeable work proceeds.
Cancellations and statutory rights
Where you enter into a consumer services contract at a distance or away from business premises, you may have a statutory 14-day cancellation right, subject to applicable rules and exceptions. If you ask First Guest to start services during that period, your express request and the relevant cancellation information will be handled as part of your booking process. Charges for services already supplied and loss of cancellation rights on full performance will be handled only as the law permits. Project-specific cancellation and postponement arrangements will be provided in writing and cannot override your statutory rights.
Care, concerns and responsibilities
We aim to deliver services with reasonable care and skill. If you have a concern, contact us promptly so we can investigate and discuss an appropriate remedy. Nothing on this page excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
